Being a referee can be a very enriching experience that is accessible
to all members of the Quebec Racquetball Association.

Instruction course on the rules (prerequisite for the certification)

  • Develop a standard approach for the referee in Handball
  • Program components presentation
  • Analysis of the game rules
  • Description of the different roles of the referee
  • Discussion on the most often encountered problem situations
  • Application of the main security points during handball practice
  • Reminder of the steps to follow in order to obtain a referee certification

Usual schedule (4 hours):

Evening from 18h30 to 22h30
Daytime from 12h00 to 16h00

Practice Session /Exam

  • Complete the applicants referee certification course
  • Verify the practice requirements (match sheet)
  • Revision of the main interpretations in game situation (game rules)
  • Practice and written exam
  • Discussion with the applicants on the goals achieved
  • Exam correction
  • Results handout (discussion with the applicants that did not pass)

Daytime from 12h00 to 16h00+
